WP-ShortStat plugin broken after upgrading to Wordpress 2.0.2

The visitor statistics plugin Wp-Shortstat stops logging new hits after a Wordpress uprade to 2.0.2 (It still works in version Wordpress 2.0.0, haven’t checked 2.0.1).  Here’s a fixed version as .txt file (save on your harddisk and omit the .txt).  Some info on the package and the bug: (more…)

Direct-link versions of Digg feeds

If you want to follow the top links on Digg via RSS, you’ll notice that the RSS feeds do not contain these top links, but point to pages on Digg itself. Which is fine if “Digging” (= one-click tagging*) and commenting is your priority before reading the linked stories. (more…)

Sitedeals15? Released! (I’m in)

I’m trying my luck in a Dutch SEO Contest – the goal is to rank nr one on Google.nl for the query “sitedeals15 released”. I’m late – it started a month ago and runs just 3 more weeks. In despair, I ‘ll plaster my entry on top of both my index page and my RSS feed :-).
